Brent Kaneft

Brent C. Kaneft is Head of School at Wilson Hall in Sumter, South Carolina, where he leads a PK3–12 community of over 850 students with a strategic focus on research-informed teaching and learning. Previously Director of Curriculum & Instruction at Park Tudor School (Indianapolis, IN) and English department chair at Christ School (Asheville, NC), Kaneft brings nearly two decades of experience aligning curriculum, professional growth, and school culture. His writing has appeared in local and state newspapers, Intrepid Ed News, and NAIS publications. He is also the author of "The Ouroboric Gag," a Substack examining the metacrisis in independent-school education and the future of independent schools.
