Professional Bio
Stephanie Griffin is the Assistant Head of School for Academics at Trinity Episcopal School, where she also teaches a social action seminar - a class committed to developing the next civically engaged leaders and advocates. She has spent almost two decades doing what independent school educators do best: wearing multiple hats! In addition to teaching humanities across grades 5-10, she has directed service-learning, served as an academic and grade-level dean, spearheaded curriculum design and interdisciplinary planning initiatives, and coached. She is thrilled to engage in strategic thinking and visioning for Trinity’s K-8 academic program, working daily to answer the question, “What is best for teachers and learners?” Stephanie holds a bachelor's degree in History from Bryn Mawr College and an M.S. Ed. in Education from the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2023, she earned her Instructional Leadership Certificate from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.
