Professional Bio
Tosha Arriola is a mission-driven educational leader currently serving as Head of Upper School at Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina. She oversees a dynamic learning community of nearly 800 students and more than 100 faculty and staff, guiding strategic initiatives that advance academic excellence, student wellbeing, and institutional sustainability.
Now in her 34th year as an educator, Tosha brings a breadth of experience across diverse learning environments. Her career spans teaching preschool in Costa Rica as a Peace Corps volunteer, 15 years in elementary education, and serving as a professor in the School of Education at Queens University of Charlotte. She has also led innovative programs in global education and faculty development, expanding opportunities for students and strengthening inclusive school communities.
Known for her collaborative leadership and systems-thinking approach, Tosha is committed to aligning people, purpose, and practice to help schools thrive.
