Professional Bio
My leadership has been recognized at the local, state, and national levels. The Senate of Puerto Rico honored my advocacy for Latino educators and students. I am a recipient of the ALAS National Advocacy Award and the NLU Outstanding Achiever Alumni Award. I was also named Elementary School Principal of the Year by the Orange County School Counselor Association, a finalist for OCPS Principal of the Year, and a recipient of the Florida Department of Education’s Family Engagement Award.
I’ve invested in my growth through Harvard Institutes for Turnaround Leadership, Urban School Leaders, and Family Engagement in Education, experiences that strengthened my ability to transform schools, elevate instruction, and build sustainable support systems.
At my core, I believe every student deserves access to rigorous, culturally responsive instruction and every educator deserves the coaching and resources to deliver it. I specialize in instructional leadership, trauma-informed practices, and curriculum innovation, always with a focus on building strong communities that foster a love for learning.
My passion is helping schools and districts thrive, ensuring students, families, and educators are empowered to reach their fullest potential.
