Dennis Chapman

Dr. Dennis Chapman has 20 years of independent school leadership experience, currently serving as Head of School at The Village School of Naples (TVS). Since 2018, he has overseen a 53% enrollment increase and tripled the Upper School student body. Dr. Chapman raised annual giving from $200,000 to over $2 million and secured $2.2 million for campus expansion. Previously, he was President and Head of School at The New School in Fayetteville, AR, where he raised $15.5 million, led $30 million in construction, and increased enrollment and giving significantly. Dr. Chapman also served at The Out-of-Door Academy (ODA) in FL, leading a fundraising effort of over $30 million. He will serve on the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) Board of Directors effective July 2024. Dr. Chapman holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Education from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity International University.
