Karen Firminger

Karen joined The Bear Creek School community in 2002 when her younger children were in Lower School, and now she is the parent of three alumni (classes of 2009, 2011, and 2021). After serving the school in myriad volunteer capacities, she joined the staff in 2015. Karen is passionate about nourishing a collaborative partnership among all members of the school’s community because she believes that when everyone strives to support Bear Creek’s mission and core values through their words and deeds, not only does this generation benefit but the generations to come. Karen and her husband enjoy each season the Northwest brings, from raking up fall leaves, to summer at the lake. Spending time with their grown children and grandchildren is the consistent sunshine in their lives!
