Professional Bio

Ronette Bloom Throne is the Chief Development Officer at the Epstein School. She also is an Epstein alum, class of 1984. In her role, Ronette oversees all the Financial Resource Development for the school. In this role since 2014, she has been instrumental in growing fundraising resources for the school, stewarding major donor relationships, and growing the school's Endowment. Prior to this role, Ronette was at the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta where she last served as Vice President of Community Campaign at the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta (JFGA). In her almost 14 years there, she served in various capacities, including Vice President for Community Impact (Planning and Allocations), Young Leadership Director, and planning Atlanta Federation Missions to Israel.

Ronette spent nine years in Israel working in the Hotel Business for six years and then worked for the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) in the International Relations Division in Jerusalem.

Ronette has a B.A in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Social Work and Jewish Communal Service from Yeshiva University where she graduated with honors. Ronette is a recipient of the FEREP (Federation Executive Recruitment Program) Scholarship from the United Jewish Communities.
