Event Details

Join SAIS President, Dr. Brett Jacobsen and distinguished heads of independent schools for an engaging panel discussion exploring how the principles of Radical Candor can transform leadership and school culture. Drawing from the Radical Candor framework, this conversation will examine how educational leaders can foster environments where honest, caring feedback drives both individual and institutional growth.

Our panel will delve into the practical application of Radical Candor's core tenets—caring personally while challenging directly—within the unique context of independent schools.

Discussion topics will include navigating difficult conversations with faculty, parents, and board members; building trust that enables candid dialogue; and creating cultures where feedback becomes a tool for relationship building.

Special guest Kim Scott, author of Radical Candor, will join the conversation to provide insights on implementing these practices in our schools, addressing the particular challenges and opportunities that school leaders face when cultivating transparent, growth-oriented communication.
