As an independent school leader, you juggle the urgent and the important every day. The demands of students, faculty, and families require your immediate attention—but where does that leave your long-term strategic goals?
Too often, strategy gets discussed but stalls in implementation. Schools struggle to turn big-picture vision into real, measurable action while balancing the daily pressures of leadership.
Introducing the Blueprint Sprint
A two-day, intensive experience designed specifically for independent school leadership teams, the Blueprint Sprint helps you turn strategy into measurable progress.
Led by Dr. Brett Jacobsen, SAIS president, and Ann Marsh Rutledge, SAIS director of strategic design & innovation, this high-impact workshop will give your team a structured blueprint and practical tools to bring a strategic priority to life—so you can return to your school ready to implement real change.
How it works
- Purchase a table for the Blueprint Sprint. Space is limited to only 10 tables.
- $1,995 per team (member price)
- $2,389 per team (non-member price)
- Assemble a team of 3-5 members.
- Teams could include the head of school, leadership team members, trustees, division leaders, curriculum directors, grade-level leaders, etc.
- Participant names are not required at the time of registration and will be collected 4-6 weeks prior to the event.
- Note: Each team will have dedicated space to focus on its own strategic work, with no cross-school collaboration, ensuring your time is well spent and your project remains distinct and independent.
- Identify a pressing strategic priority from your school—an initiative, project, or challenge with the potential for significant impact that this team will address during the sprint.
Event Policies & Acknowledgments
Payment may be made by credit/debit or ACH. The form defaults to credit/debit but ACH is selectable.
Cancellations received before February 1 via THIS FORM are eligible for an 80% refund. After the stated cancellation date, refunds are not available, but replacement registrants are welcomed. Extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis following the conclusion of the event. In the unlikely event that SAIS cancels a program, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded.
